Protxs was founded by a doctor of chiropractic with a special interest in the effects of electromagnetic radiation on human health. Concerned about the potential for harm from radiation emitted by cell phones, computers, tablets and other devices, he developed a line of products to reduce consumers’ exposure to electromagnetic radiation. The first product to launch was a cell phone shield. Protxs, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, enlisted Foremost Graphics’ help in designing a custom retail packaging solution.
Challenge
In the crowded market for cell phone accessories, Protxs needed packaging concepts that would help its product stand out. The company also needed a fast turnaround on both design and production, as speed to market was a critical concern.

Because Foremost Graphics has in-house structural design and concept engineering, and because we share the client’s innovative spirit, we were the perfect partner for this new product launch. With input from our client, we developed a winning design for product packaging and point-of-purchase displays. Our production solution included an innovative, fast-drying coating to speed up the pack-out process.
Results
Protxs launched its new product in the summer of 2016 and has seen strong early sales. Our bold packaging designs gave the company an eye-catching product to promote online and on retail shelves.
