Stryker’s Interventional Spine division had an online storefront through which its sales and marketing teams ordered sales literature and marketing tools. The company used a mix of local printers to provide short-run printing and mailing services to fulfill these orders, but the product quality was inconsistent and deliveries were sometimes unreliable. In addition, multiple communication channels were required to manage the programs.

A longtime Foremost Graphics customer introduced us to Stryker. After assessing the client’s current vendor base, product mix, technology solutions and communication channels, we recommended an integrated, single-source solution for the production and delivery of marketing materials.

Our solution, which Stryker embraced, includes a custom-developed web storefront offering both inventoried and print-on-demand products. On-demand items include template-based and customizable posters, brochures, catalogs, postcards and letters, with integrated direct mail services targeting various markets. We use the appropriate technology to print each item, manage inventory levels in our fulfillment center and select cost-effective freight and mailing options. Automated email messages for order and shipping confirmations keep the customer informed before delivery.

By selecting a single-source supplier, Stryker not only achieved cost savings but also found a way to present a consistent brand image to its internal and external customers. Through our integrated storefront, which includes mailing list specification and ordering options, Stryker has an easy, timesaving way to order and receive high-quality, customized marketing materials. A dedicated Foremost Graphics customer service team understands Stryker’s program and ensures that all needs are met.
